DISPLAY CODES AND SPECIAL FUNCTIONS

CODES = Err1
CAUSES = Door is not properly shut.
SOLUTIONS = Shut the door properly.

CODES = Err2
CAUSES = Drainage error, water not emptied within 4 minutes.
SOLUTIONS = Clean the fi lter and check the drain hose for blockage. If error still exists, please contact the maintenance personnel

CODES = Err3
CAUSES = Temperature sensor not properly connected or damaged.
SOLUTIONS = Contact the maintenance personnel.

CODES = Err4
CAUSES = Heater error or laundry overload. The set temperature is not reached within specified
time. (Appears at the end of a cycle).
SOLUTIONS = Reduce load and then start washing again. If problem still exists, please contact the maintenance personnel.

CODES = Err5
CAUSES = Water level not met in 8 minutes.
SOLUTIONS = Check the tap and the water pressure.

CODES = Err6
CAUSES = Dehumidification/heating error.
SOLUTIONS = Please contact the Service Center.

CODES = Err7
CAUSES = Motor overheat protection or damage.
SOLUTIONS = Please contact the Service Center.

CODES = Err8
CAUSES = Water overflow.
SOLUTIONS = Please contact the Service Center.

CODES = Err9
CAUSES = Error of the dryer temperature sensor.
SOLUTIONS = Please contact the Service Center.

CAUSES = Error of the water level sensor.
SOLUTIONS = Please contact the Service Center.

SOLUTIONS = Check whether clothes are dry or not and whether there is water still in the drum. If so allow excess humidity to escape from the appliance and try the drying cycle again.

CAUSES = Laundry is unevenly distributed.
SOLUTIONS = Redistribute laundry to balance the drum.

CAUSES = Manually selected code when laundry weight is less than 1kg.

CAUSES = Manually selected code when drum is nearly full.

Control panel lock function: Press the "Delay" and the "Temperature" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds after starting a program.
It can no longer be changed by operating buttons or knobs. To unlock press the "Delay" and "Start/Pause" buttons again for 3 seconds.
Power-off memory function: In case of abrupt power failure or the need to cut off the power during a program cycle, the present
settings will be saved and the preset operation will resume when the power is on again.
To cancel a program Press the "Start/Pause" button, then switch off the power and the program is automatically cancelled. Turn the program selector again to choose another program.

Reading the last alarm condition
The diagnostics system makes it possible to identify the last alarm condition which occurred during the
operation of the appliance. To read this alarm condition, after accessing the diagnostics system (see
"Access to the diagnostics / configuration system), press the FABRICS or TEMPERATURE buttons until LED L9 lights.



The alarm condition is shown on the display, or the corresponding binary code flashes on the wash phase LEDs.
=> The first four LEDs indicate the first digit of the alarm code
=> The second four LEDs indicate the second digit of the alarm code
For example, if an E41 alarm condition (door open) is generated, the display will show E41 or (if the
appliance does not feature the display window) the second LED in the first group (equivalent to 4 in binary
code) and the fourth LED in the second group (equivalent to1 in binary code) will flash. If no alarm condition has occurred, E00 is displayed.
7.6.1 Diagnostics cycle alarms
If a malfunction should occur during the course of the diagnostics cycle, the relative alarm codes are displayed. In this case, too, the wash phase LEDs (or the display) show the error cod (flashing).
Binary codes
The table below shows how to convert the binary code displayed by the LEDs into the corresponding decimal number.

0 = LED off
1 = LED flashing

Description of fault = Problems with water fill in wash phase (maximum 10 minutes for each fill phase)

Effect = Cycle PAUSED
Possible causes = Tap closed or mains pressure insufficient; solenoid valve; hydraulic circuit of pressure switches; pressure switches; wiring; main PCB

Alarm code = E12
LED L26 - 29 = 0 0 0 1
LED L30 - 33 = 0 0 1 0
Description of fault = Problems with water fill in drying phase (maximum 10 minutes for each fill phase during in the wash load untangling phase)
User code = E10
Effect = Cycle PAUSED
Possible causes = Tap closed or mains pressure insufficient; solenoid valve; hydraulic circuit of pressure switches; pressure switches; wiring; main PCB

Alarm code = E21
LED L26 - 29 = 0 0 1 0
LED L30 - 33 = 0 0 0 1
Description of fault = Problems with water drain in wash phase (maximum 10 minutes for each drain phase)
User code = E20
Effect = Cycle PAUSED
Possible causes = Drain hose obstructed; filter blocked; drain pump; pressure switches; wiring; main PCB

Alarm code = E22
LED L26 - 29 = 0 0 1 0
LED L30 - 33 = 0 0 1 0
Description of fault = Problems with water drain during drying or drying condenser blocked
(anti-boiling pressure switch closed on "full")
User code = E20
Effect = Heating phase skipped
Possible causes = Drain hose obstructed; filter blocked; drying condenser blocked; drain pump; pressure switches; wiring; main PCB

Alarm code = E31
LED L26 - 29 = 0 0 1 1

Description of fault = Electronic pressure switch circuit faulty (frequency of pressure switch signal out of limits)

Effect = Cycle blocked with door closed
Possible causes = Electronic pressure switch; wiring; main PCB

Description of fault = Incorrect calibration of electronic pressure switch (electronic pressure switch level different from 0-66 mm after initial calibration drain and anti-boiling pressure switch on "empty")
